I just completed my first build (a 7 in. pistol). I ordered a complete upper with a quadrail from RRA. The problem is that the quad rail does not thread correctly. When it is screwed all the way in, the rail is a little less than an 1/8 turn from the rail on the A4 upper. If that didn't make sense, when screwed all the way in, the quad rail does not like up with the A4 rail. I tried unscrewing it until it was tight against the gas block, but it doesn't line up right there either. Is there anything I can do about this or is it a manufacturer defect or what?

Oh, when the handrail is loosened to where the rails on the handrail and A4 do much up, it is very loose.

Thanks in advance.

If your upper from RRA looks like this:

then you should have a keeper ring like in the picture to properly align the forearm.

Step 1: Thread keeper ring and forearm all the way back.
Step 2: If it doesn't line up properly, back the forearm off until it does either by using a carry handle across the rail or by eye.
Step 3. Back the keeper ring to the forearm to keep it in place.
