I have a YHM folding GB sight painted krylon tan.
Left the post black.

Are you trying to make it stand out better against dark targets? The Rifles we had in basic were so old the front sight post were silver so a little black sharpie helped take the glare off
But if you want it lighter I would think white out, nail polish or just about anything else would work. Check brownells or Midway, I'm sure theres sight paint available from there.
Duracoat has some glow in the dark sight paint IIRC

I was interested in painting my bead front sight from KNS with a glow in the dark silver or gold paint that would illuminate when my rail light was on. Haven't found it yet but I haven't looked that hard either.

Testors Acrylic hobby paint works real good for painting the post tip itself.
