Very nice! Have you had a chance to shoot it yet? If not, could you post a range report when you do? I really like the configuration and would like to know more. Thanks in advance! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile This rifle has about 4000 rounds on it so far. The first 1500 were in it's basic iron sighted configuration with factory furniture. I've had the DD rail, light, and EOTech on it for about a year or 2500 rounds. The recent additions are basically just furniture upgrades, the MOE grip and core, the CTR, and the VFG. I've been back and forth with the VFG a few times which is why I'd like to try a shorter version. The gun itself handles extremely well. This is my first gun with an EOTech but it won't be the last. I'm a certified convert. I went with the 516 for the built in riser, side mounted buttons, excellent battery life and comparability withe the Surefire. This rifle is also surprisingly light for a kitted out weapon, thanks mostly to the DD Omega and the X300. When I ditched my old 951 for the X300, it was like taking a brick off the end of the gun. |

Thanks for the additional info Triburst I'm currently running a couple of M962s, but I'd like to ditch them for a lighter LED option like the X300. I completely sympathize with your desire to remove the brick from the end of your carbine. My trunk gun for example is a basic A2 KISS build, but the M962 on the end of it is like a freaking boat anchor that completely destroys the balance-it needs to go
