I have a 6/3 removable carry handle, and to bottom it out (turn the elevation all the way down) it takes 6 clicks. Is this normal, or should I fix it to it only takes 1 to 1/2 turn to bottom out like my A2 does.

The 6/3 adjustment is normal for removable carry handles, as are the number of clicks. The A2 sights go to 8/3.

[ETA] The number of clicks on the removable carry handle are twice those of the A2, but the adjustment range is smaller.

6 clicks from what setting?

Dude,

Do you mean it bottoms out 6 clicks below the 300 mark?  It all depends on how you want to "zero" your sights.  Look through the FAQ and you wil see the different ways to do this.  I thing the best way in the 50 yard zero.

Read this

and make sure you figure out if you have 1/2 clicks or not on your handle.

Minus 6 is ideal...don't mess with it. Zero at 50yds and you will be golden.

I agree, the IBZ or RIBZ requires about 6 clicks below 6/3 on a removable carry handle and zeroing at 50 yards is just about ideal if you want +/- 2.5" from POA from 0-230+ meters..
