| I ended up doing a pair of the pencil profile, mid-length in 14.7. I already have the BCM comps to take them out to 16, a pair lightweight Midwest industries handguards. I am a flat top upper receiver, gas block, and gas tube away from having an ultra lightweight upper x2. |

Looks like AR15Discounts bought up some of Delton's barrel stock (DTI), which would make sense as Delton and AR15Discounts are both based in NC. Chrome Lined 1:9 twist barrels $60: https://ar15discounts.com/products/16-5-56-nato-19-twist-phosphate-chrome-lined-carbine-m4-barrel/ https://ar15discounts.com/products/16-5-56-nato-19-twist-phosphate-chrome-lined-midlength-heavy-barrel/ Enlarge the photos and you'll see DTI markings on the barrels. The parts were generic, but everything looks fine. Trigger guards were aluminum. |

Not thet cheap right now but watch CDNN, they are in that $130 range when on sale Bushy UL barreled upper Actually snagged a couple, with a good deal on a BCG and CH my total cost was $212 per upper. Shoots pretty well, makes a good lightweight walking around rifle. Might need a cheap, short handguard now too, be great to find a cheap free float handguard thet doesn't suck and mounts to the USGI barrel nut. @me if anyone knows of one. |
