I've got a CMMG .22 conversion kit in a AR I built. Is it unusual that this bolt will not lock in the open position?

black dog mags hold the bolt open after the last shot, because the follower prevents the bolt from closing. but nothing else will hold it open on any conversion kit.

CMMG actually just came out with a piece that is inserted between the receivers in the magwell that will hold the bolt open on the last shot.

And I just went and looked at their site to link it and it's not there. I'm positive it was CMMG...

Maybe it's not for sale yet, but yeah, the bolt doesn't lock back
