Hi Guys,

I have an M&P15 M4 but this will be my first build. Do you guys like the Del-Ton lower parts kits? Also, this one will be an A2 configuration so I was wondering if you have any preferences for A2 buttstocks?

Thanks

WOW. 4 years and first post.

My buddy had a DelTon LPK and it feels like my DPMS LPK. Average at best but will work fine.

I've been extremely satisfied with CMT/Stag and the DD LPK's..Those are the ones I've mainly used. I currently have an Armalite also which was just as good..

I have used a few of the DS LPKs and the triggers are horrid (gritty). However, I haven't ever been impressed with any other LPK trigger I have used. They can be cleaned up to feel fairly nice for what they are. I actually took the worst one I had and did a file and 'Dremel buffing wheel' trigger job on it. Feels almost as good as the trigger in my old SP2. If it is cheap and you are decent with your hands, grab one and try it. You can always put a Giessele DMR in it later ....

Sorry guys,  I'll try not to take up so many post spaces but thanks for the info. Maybe I'll go with a RRA NM LPK.

I have used DPMS for a couple of my cheaper builds and they work just fine. I couldn't imagine them being any worse or much better than Del-Ton. Just make sure Del-Ton has then in stock when you place your order.

Seriously, 4 years and your first post. I think we should get him a membership.

Well,
Most of my "posting time" was used up on a C&R forum. I'm just beginning to move out of the 1940's! Still love those C&R rifles and pistols though.
