I just installed an ace entry stock and wanted to add another inch to it,  is the DPMS extender the best way to go?

I guess my only concern is not having a rock solid tight fit because of multiple parts... what say the hive?

I don't have any experience with the ace stock specifically, but I've used that extender before and it was rock solid when tightened down properly.

I have that exact setup on my rifle.  Works great.  I use that 1" extension in conjunction with the 1" buttpad.  I needed to buy a different bolt to cinch it all down though.

What type of bolt did you need to buy?  was the dpms bolt to long or short?

It's quite solid - no looseness or wobble at all.

The screw hole is recessed on the Ace buttpad, so it was necessary to use one of these:

I picked up one of THESE off the EE for mine, but still had to get a longer bolt as stated before
