alright so i know i'm limited on choices, but help me make a decison, currently have a build in process with a BCM lighweight middy and am looking for a rear sight to put on it, it probably will be for primary use for a while since i dont currently have the money for the eotech i want, but what suggestions does the hive have on rear sights. also considering i may want to cowitness with the eotech what works best or should i just go with some flip up sights? Let me know what everyone thinks

Thanks

the Magpul MBUS sights are awesome. they're light and just as reliable as the others.... plus they are half the price. You'll have no problem co-witnessing with an eotech with the MBUS sights

I have tried many different brands and now go with Troy flip up rears. Mine will co-witness fine with my EOtechs. On my Colt 6920, the troy rear flip up co-witnesses with the stock FSB fixed front sight and Eotech. On my spikes tactical SBR (7.5in) I have troy flip up front and rear, which cowitness perfectly with my EOtech 511.

Troy flip up.

DD or Troy fixed.  It looks like the new Troy fixed will trump DD fixed, but they're pretty similar.

The MBUS are good for a low budget flip up, or backup sights.  I would never use them as a primary sight.  They just aren't going to be as accurate as iron sights and I don't like the way they block my field of view.

TROY IS OFFERING 20% OFF THEIR FIXED REAR SIGHTS

Comes with continuous zero.

Or you can get their new di optic aperature.

I like a LMT fixed rear for my go-to carbine (14.5") with Aimpoint. I'm sure the LaRue and DD fixed rears are good, too. For flip, I like Troy, which is what I have on my other rifle that can sport an ACOG or Aimpoint.

I'm running both generations of Troy flip-up rear sight, as well as a couple of ARMS #40s. While I like them both I think Troy offers a more durable, higher quality product-so I tend to keep buying them

New version on left, old one on right:

Has anyone used the Troy fixed sights?  Is there any chance of continuous zero feature causing it to get bumped off zero?

alright so sounds like troy is the best bet if i'm going to be using them for awhile until i have the money for optics, they are more expensive but if they perform better/are more reliable than the Magpul then defin. will have to consider this......

Thanks

That troy fixed looks intriguing. About the same price as the Daniel Defense A1.5. I don't know which one to get. Hard to resist that Troy with the sale they are having. not that is matters but aesthetically the Troy is looking sick.
