Is one "better" than the other for any reason?
I know the Daniel Defense LPK comes with the MOE trigger guard, but I'll be using a MIAD grip, so that doesn't mean anything to me.

I've read Daniel Defense makes all their stuff in house. Their LPKs as well?

Thanks,
MF

Ive heard DPMS roll pins are sometimes out of spec. Ive used DD and they are great IMHO.

Wow... it's almost like you are trying to compare DD and DPMS with a straight face... oh wait!

Um yeah, DD kits are awesome. DPMS kits are ok, but DD kits are not much more money.

DPMS are serviceable, but DD gets the nod here.  If you have the $ and can find DD, go that way.  If not, CMT/Stag is also highly recommended.

The only thing I have read that is bad about the DPMS LPK's are that their trigger guard roll pins are a bit large and can be difficult to tap in without getting them stuck or breaking off the receiver ear.

With that said I have used several DPMS LPK's and have never had a issue with them.  I have always used Mapgul trigger guards which come with a roll pin so I have never had to try and use
DPMS's trigger guard roll pins.

I'd say if price is a issue go with DPMS, they can be found for considerably cheaper than the DD LPK's.  However, In my opinion I can't see how the DD is "that" much better.

+1 for DD LPK.    $70 from Palmetto State Armory with Magpul trigger guard and machine finished surfaces on the trigger....

I have 3 Noveske lowers that I just built using DPMS LPKs. No problems whatsoever.

I'd say they are good to go for rec shooting (which is all I do).

DD hands down.  And what does the fact that you're using an MIAD have anything to do with the MOE trigger guard, unless you plan to use the MIAD front strap with integrated trigger guard?
