| A friend of mine would like to replace his buttstock on an pre-ban 9mm AR15. It currently has fixed stock that looks like the ones that belong on a shotgun. He already purchased a LMP Sopmod stock and tube. He was able to remove the old stock and install the new tube. However, the original buffer and spring are too long. If he replaces buffer and spring with standard mill spec, then will he have an issue with the 9mm bolt? I figure someone here must have already done it. Would hate to recommend he spend more money for something that will not work. |
