I'm looking at buying a Bushmaster Varminter after reading all of the great accuracy reports . I mentioned it to one of the armorers from the department I retired from and he said that he had alot of trouble trying to get them to fix something and claimed they had one of the worse customer services that he had delt with in the 25 years as the department armorer. I've known this guy for about 25 years and don't know him to be a naysayer so he now has me wondering.
I've done a few quick searches on the internet but can't aseem to find any unhappy customers. Would love to hear if anyone has had any experiance with them, good or bad? Thanks. |
| Not going to speak for anyone else, but bought one of their pieces last year and didn't notice the bubbling in the finish until I brought it home (was kind of hidden without looking that close but wasn't going to keep an AR with a crappy finish from the factory). Anyway, long story short, called customer service, shipped the lower to them, and while it took close to three weeks to get another lower that one was perfect. In other words, they rectified the problem with no fuss. My story. |
