I just got a Streamlight Polytac LED flash light and mounted it on a VTAC mount. The front sling mount is in the way. What do I do? Leave it the way it is? Remove the sling mount? If so, how do I do that? I don't want to move it back because it would be too far back for my grip. If I move it more forward, it won't do anything because the mount will still hit the body of the light.

I'd take a punch and knock that sling swivel rivet out, remove the swivel and put a picatinny mounted swivel on the left hand guard rail.

Are you running a VFG?
I have the same mount and a G2LED on my HD AR but my white light sits above the side rail mount rather than below like yours. The sling mount would not get in the way then although I've already removed the sling mount as I run a single point sling. Since I dont run a VFG the way my light sits is in line with my thumb so using the tail cap switch works perfect. |

That's how I removed mine. It came right out.
