I just want to be clear as I am little confused.

When pinning a flashider on a 14.5 barrrel, is the barrel extension included in the measurement? If you were to take the barrel off and measure from the very end of the barrel extension to the tip of the flash hider is that considered the over all length or is it from the barrel itself without the extension?

i do no believe the extension is included as the way to measure a barrel is to take a 16" or 16.1" dowel rod and place it down the barrel on a closed bolt. since the bolt fits partially into the barrel extension, most of it isn't included
