I have a 16" upper, CMMG lower and have a fixed stock available to use.   I think I know what parts I need to complete, but please correct me if I missed anything:

Rifle sized buffer tube, Rifle buffer and spring, receiver plate and castle nut.

And also, will I have any problems with a rifle buffer setup on a 16" upper??   As you may recall, or not, I had a 20" flat top upper on a collapsible stocked lower, and had problems that I never quite figured out, however some eluded to a carbine stock setup on a rifle upper...

Sorry I am at a loss here and don't know what I need to buy to get her going.    Any help will be appreciated.

You don't need the plate or a castle nut with a rifle stock

is the stock an a1 or a2? you will need a spacer if the stock is an a2. & a longer screw for the butt stock.

the a1 doesn't use a spacer & therefore uses a shorter screw.

receiver plate & castle nut are not used with a fixed stock.

hope that helps?
