| My wife got me a new Magpul lower for Christmas and I am trying to get information on them. It is not the limited engraved edition which were given to Class 2 SOT's/special customers. It is currently confirgured with UBR stock. I was mainly curious on how many were made and future resell. Is this something worth keeping in the safe for awhile and what is current value? I have other AR's and M16 so it doesn't need to be a shooter. Thanks. |

It is extremely valuable. They sell for a minimum of $1000 and are rumored to be up to $2000or more! total b.s. they were made with faulty metal and could explode if shot. I will "in good faith" trade you a essential arms lower for the replacement of the magpul. I really would hate for a newbie to get hurt with something their wife bought them. edit. i only say newbie due to lack of posts, not your education on the ar platform |

Thanks. I might just look around for a Noveske to complete it. I found out that it came with one originally, but the seller separated when it was sold. There were only 75 that came with the UBR. Do you know if it has the SSA trigger? If so it was the SPR if not it was the Recce. |

Unfortunately, it came with the regular stage 1 trigger. Not sure if the original owner swapped it out though. It probably came with the Noveske Recce then. Here's a link to the original specs it would have come with if you ever care to try to piece it back together: http://www.sgcusa.com/Rifles-Noveske-Rifleworks/c85_98/p2988/Noveske-Limited-Edition-MPL-Light-Recce-Give-away!/product_info.html |
