I am wondering if my Smith & Wesson BCG will work in an LMT upper? I am wondering about headspacing? My friend talked to his father and said this could be a problem.

The BCG will work fine, just check the bolt for head space.

If both parts are new then you definitely shouldn't have a problem. If they have a high round count then you should check the head space.
