[ARCHIVED THREAD] - triggers

So i'm looking into getting a new trigger for my ar. i was looking at the timneys and was curious what the difference between the skeletonized vs the regular one? is it just for looks? also would love to hear any other recommendations on other triggers that are around the same price as the timneys but was really curious on what the scoop on the skeletonized trigger is all about!

I don't know how much Timneys are, but the Giessele DMR is excellent and it is about $280.... worth every penny.

Looks and additional money.

I put one of the regular ones my SPR build. I've heard that there is an issue with the pins walking out, so I used KNS pins. I'm real happy with it.

Obviously the looks, but it is also shaped a little different. But both are the same mechanically. I have the 3# skeletonized in one of my builds. Nice trigger, easy install.

okay so my next question would be if there have been any malfunctions or failure to reset with these? ive read that some of the timneys have an issue with resetting
