sent my trigger out to bill the other week and had it done. when i got it back i was missing a piece i think its the disconnect? well i put it together just to feel it and it broke very smooth but its heavier then i would have liked. everyone said go with the 4 lb and i think i would have bin better off with the 3 because it was already 4lb or close. but there is no play in the trigger so it feels way better! so one other thing i noticed while testing to make sure the safety and everything worked was when i pulled the trigger with the safe on it pulled back and went click.... so i banded the stock on the ground to see if it would fire but it didn't ok good. but then the trigger pull was extremely light. so i guess i got more then i paid for because i have a good clean breaking 4lb pull and then all i have to do is put the safety on try to pull the trigger then take it off and i have a hair trigger. is that safe? lol and will the part im missing make the gun feel any better?
thanks for going threw and reading i know its hard for you guys to read my post. sorry |

The OP has a problem. Engage safety (selector), pull trigger, release safety. Does the hammer fall when you do this, or is the trigger pull just very light? Not good either way.
The part you are missing is the disconnector. Don't try to fire the rifle without it, and you shouldn't fire it at all until a 'smith has a look at it. No, the missing disconnector will not solve the trigger problem. Talk to Bill, see what he says. Moon |
