Who all makes a decent short/stubby vertical grip?  I know LaRue and Tango Down.  Does anyone else make a good one?  What do you guys run on the shorter end?  Of vertical grips that is

you can cut down magpuls new VG

Also i have a Tango Down stubby with a QD mount, I love it. Its a bit pricey but its 100% worth it

I use my VG with half my hand on it, and half on the rails so I perfer the shorter ones. Not that it matters on a SHTF gun or what not but I think the shorter ones look better to.

I have a Spikes VFG, its short, metal and about 30.00. Can't beat it, it also has a spacer to make it larger if i prefer It's pictured below on my 9mm set up.

I love the Tango Down stubby, but make sure to get the QD model as the regular is a real pain in the ass to mount/dismount

This is funny some of making your own stubby's as i did the same.I had bought a Tango Down long one and after i got it i did not like it.
So out came the hack saw and trimmed off some threads like about and the cap just pops in and out now and i really like on my new SBR...
If ya already have one and don't want to spring more cash for another its an option huh?

I'm a fan of the Troy VFG.  It's a little spendy, but I think it's worth it.

I know everyone bags on Tapco, but I tried their shorty vertical grip and actually liked it. It was secure and very solid.  I've since switched to the new Magpul, but if I went back to a vertical I would pull the Tapco out of the box.
