Do you guys have any issues with these coming loose, providing they were properly installed (thread-locker, dimples in the barrel for the screws)? Thanks, Mike |

The problem with thread locker is it fails under heat. Gas blocks get hot. You do the math. Stake the screws in place after the block is installed. BSW Might be an issue with full auto barrels shot till glowing but has not been an issue to the best of my knowledge on semi guns. |

No full auto either. I re-tightened the screws and staked them. No problems after that. BSW |

i milled a tiny little slot on 1 side of each set-screw hole, and then peened the torqued set-screws into the slots. i'm still not sold on set-screws for gas blocks though. i'll take a pinned block any day of the week. I agree 100%. Pins weren't available as an option when I bought that barrel assembly. BSW |
