| Anyone have the DDXV compete upper and if so can you tell me if the barrel is CHF and will it be marked as so. Is the bolt marked MPI and is the carrier marked in any way to show it is a DD product? |
| as far as i know the bolt is marked MP, i could be wrong, but i know that there uppers are sold with the CHF barrels. unless you buy fom PK and all you get fom DD is the regular $170 barrel, and they charge you $500 and claims its Daniel defense. Let me know if you are planning to buy one, i have a sight that has them in stock and at a discount price. If i had more money id buy one just to sit on it for the future. |
| Bought one from Bravo Company at Christmas. The barrel is marked under the hand guards, kind of hard to see it. The bolt is not marked. slight problem with mine though, my pivot pin will not go through the upper. Waiting on a response back from DD to see what to do about this. I have tried four different lower kits, two Rock River two DPMS and none of the pivot pins will pass through. |

As for the DDXV complete upper it is listed in DD's specs as CHF but was just wondering are they marked this way and if all bolts are marked MP. If not then are they MPI and HP tested? I bought my upper from AIM for $499. and the upper is very nice. I have not had problems with the pivot or take down pins. The charging handle area inside the upper receiver is tight and difficult to remove the CH. I just want to make sure I get what is advertise from DD since these items are not marked. |
