Does anyone have a carbine with an A1 or A2 upper running a DD Omega rail?  I've been considering picking one up for this build:



And what is consensus on using the DD Omega to mount an optic?  I realize I could and should just swap the C7 upper for a flattop, but I'm going for something different this time.

The DD Omega will be fine for mounting an optic though. They are rock solid.
