All,

I am looking for a 2nd and probably final AR to back up my LMT. I have purchased from Rainier Arms before and I like them and I recently came upon this rifle on their site:

I don’t know a whole lot about CMMG but the price looks good so I was wondering what you guys thought of this rifle and if you think it would be a good #2 or if I should spring for something more expensive but supposedly better quality in like a BCM, DD or other? I will also be looking to purchase a new 1911 possibly sometime soon and the $300 or so savings that I could be getting by buying this AR could go a long way in helping to purchase that handgun as well.

Any guidance/help would be greatly appreciated on whether or not this gun would be GTG particularly for my situation. Thanks.

1) There is no cure for BRD so saying that this will be your "final" AR is deceiving yourself.

2) CMMG is good to go.

The CMMG M4 LE is a nice rifle, I think you'll like it a lot. However, if you really want one CDNN has them for $750 right now as well

Thank you for the welcome and for the advice! I do know that I am probably kidding myself into thinking that this will be the last AR that I purchase but I do know that my bank account has it's mind set in stone, haha.

I just picked up a complete upper from cmmg and I'm very impressed. Haven't been out to shoot it yet but the price was right and it came with a free troy rail too!
