I just got a new upper and new BCG both from different manufacturers.
Do I need to check for headspace?
If so, how can I check for headspace without buying a Headspace Gauge?

I too asked that same question in another forum post. I was informated that as long as you arent using a used bolt or barrel, then it would not be needed.

Bolts are held to very tight tolerances as are the barrel extensions. It would be very unusual for you to have a problem. Without the gauges there isn't any way to check it.
