I have a Colt Match Target HBAR, Model #6601 (NJ legal). I wanted to replace that PITA front screw pivot pin. I ordered one of those E-Z Pull Pivot Pins from Yankee Hill along with the spring and detent. After removing my stock screw pivot pin, I noticed there's no hole for the spring and detent to go. Am I 'screwed' because of my particular Colt model. Thanks to all for any assistance.

I believe you want the applicable model of these:

That's the one I use for the rear take down pin. I need the front pivot one which is "D" shaped on one side.

Any gunsmiths out there that could help?

Have it drilled out.  I had S.A.W. convert mine.

There was a big pissing contest here over the idea that you can/can not do it yourself.  I gladly paid Ken to convert mine.

Forget that KNS trash.
