Couldn't find a specific place for this, if there is, Mod's please move.
Hi All. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'll go by purpleshadow01 ( my motorcycle). I've been working on my gun collection for about 5 years now, and had my CCH since they started it here in KS. Been lurking around here for a few months gathering info. Finally made the jump into the AR game! In the last month I've put together a carbine and an A4 clone, both Del-ton rifle kits. Only a few hundred rounds down the pipe, but so far very happy with them. Definitely both budget rifles at this point. I hope to get into the kind of sweet hardware most of you have down the line! :) Here's a pic of my AR's with my SKS. Top: Del-ton 20" A4 clone on Essential Arms lower, UTG Carry handle Middle: Norinco SKS-M in Tapco T6 stock FDE Bottom: Del-ton lightweight 16" rifle kit on Del-ton lower. Tapco pistol grip and Mag, UTG single point sling adapter, UTG flip up BUIS, Magpul enhanced trigger guard, OD furniture, Barska holosight, Not shown - CAA single point sling in OD. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp181/purpleshadow01/newgunpics059.jpg" Thanks for looking! Hope I can contribute to the forum. |

Thanks for the welcome everyone!
Great to have you here pal, nice pic as well! What is your favorite in the pic.....lets hope its one of the ARs That tapco on the your SKS really makes it look clean and sleek.
My SKS is obviously a lot of fun to shoot, and the fact that it uses AK mags is a definite plus in ease of use. The trigger leaves much to be desired, however. Out of the three pictured, my go too would definitely be the carbine. It's just so light and smooth! Love it. But doggonit, that A4 is pretty nice shooting too. I guess that's the beauty of having all three available anytime! Now to find a nice AK yet . . . . |
