Ask over here:

Rimfire and Pistol calibers

Quick answer:
Maybe.

My Colt conversion and CMMG conversion shoot similar size groups through my 6920, about 2"-3" at 50 yds rested on my gear bag.  The Colt conversion groups are about 6" low, the CMMG groups only about 1" low.

Others say that putting the conversions in a different rifle might reverse the results.

If you want to be very accurate, probably.  However when I put my conversion in and use my EoTech zeroed for 223 at 50 yards, its close enough for me.

Eotech Zeroed at 50 yards on my bushmaster, CMMG kit, at 50 yards its close enough not to worry, but in my 24" upper with a 100 yard zero it was about 6" low through a scope.

My SP1 Carbine is zero'd at 50 yards; with a CMMG kit installed, I flip the rear aperture to the "L" side and it shoots pretty darn close to the .223 point of impact.  Close enough for plinking purposes anyway, which is why I got the kit.

IIRC, 1/7 and 1/9 twist are not ideal for .22lr...keep this in mind

ditto.......remember the ideal twist rate for your avg. .22lr is 1/16
