I have a mid length CASV and have an EO Tech on top. Is there any way I can get a co witness with my irons? The last time I shot it I just sighted in the EO Tech and left it at that because when I flipped up the rear troy all you could see out of it was the base of the eo tech. It is a nice set up and using the EO Tech is fine with me but if it died I would like a smooth transition to my irons in some way. Are there any EO Tech mounts that offer a quick release without raising it any further up?  Since I am not using the irons to co witness would it be that bad if I did raise it up a tad? Thoughts

Might just be easier to get a quick release for the eotech.

ETA - after reading thoroughly (sorry) :  there are  quick release mounts:

Sell your CASV and buy a CASV-S. It's bilevel and you can put the EOTech over the barrel for cowitness.

Yes you can, but at that point you might as well buy a quad rail of some kind so you have more freedom of placement for the optic.
