I have a Colt Match Target. I am frequently switching between my stock upper and my Spikes Tactical 22LR upper. Will this cause premature wear on the upper or lower?

I'm going to say no.

No probs, but it's inconvenient.  Buy a lower from Spike's and build that 2nd gun. They're still on sale, you know.  $90 for a lower.  $50 for a LPK.  You need a $60 tube and stock, you don't even need a buffer or spring.

Damn those are some good deals on lowers and LPKs. I wish that 4473 issue didn't exist so I could still buy stripped receivers since I'm not 21 yet...

But you do know people who are over 21, right . Is that law because you could make a pistol out of the receiver? The 21 rule didn't prevent me from owning a handgun and ammunition for it, only purchasing it. In Indiana you can be 18 and have your LTCH.
