I am so pissed.  My home defense/doomsday rifle was almost complete.  I looked for months for a flashlight mount for my Stag 2 with standard handguards.  Thought I found it w/ Elzetta flashlight mount but stupidly I didn't realize it won't mount w/ my side sling swivel attached.  I really like my 2 pt sling but also like how the Elzetta looks out of all the mounts i looked at.  Should I just do without the swivel and sling and go with the light?

what about getting a rail for the bottom of your handguards?

you can attach the light on the bottom of the handguards and keep your side swivel

i used one for a vert grip

chenge the way you mount the sling...run the mount you purchased....not a porblem or look at the isreali slings that attach to regular HGs with a sleve or velcro loop...

LOOK here sling attached to standard swivil no mods needed near bottom or middle

Yeah I got a bolt-on rail, as well. Cheaper than dirt has them for like $10. You get 2 if you have carbine-M4 size guards. Made of aluminum and fit well on my Stag Model 2L. You will need 1 longer #10-32 cap-screw, though. Approx. 3/4" long. CTD item #ARR-054, in case you wanna go that route. And they're tapered to follow the countour of the handguards

Yeah that Elzetta is nice for the $$$. I have had one for a few months and really like it. Try to make it work.
