i recently bought a Colt 6920, and I'm looking to get another. either another 6920 or a KAC E3
Are both along the same lines of quality, fit and finish? is there another topshelf AR out there i could be looking at? |

I personally prefer the KAC. I think they are worth it for their lowers alone. They are completely ambidextrous, they have a very clean 2 stage trigger, and have the coolest rollmark in the biz . I love their uppers as well. E3 bolt, great accuracy, URX rail is surprisingly light, and the buis are awesome. Some people don't like the uppers because they are proprietary. It doesn't really bother me too much, but it is understandable that some would prefer having a few extra parts laying around in case something breaks. I would say get the KAC and if the proprietary bolt bothers you, sell the upper and buy a noveske upper . You can't get much better than a noveske upper and a kac lower. Either way, Colt would not even be in the running for me if it is stacked against a kac. I love Colt, but they are a very basic platform. The KAC already comes with all the upgrades I prefer and all the parts are top notch. Good luck and be sure to post pics once you have made your decision.

Noveske, KAC = Best you can get. Both companies have features no other companies have. The E3 bolt is superb. This class is the Ferrari of the AR world. Performance will absolutely blow your mind, People will gawk at you when you walk buy.
Colt, LMT, BCM = The Porsche or BMW of the AR world. Functions very reliably, the gold standard of the AR world. All other AR's are held to this standard. |
