Is this a good upgrade for my SBR's?  I don't think I have any bolt bounce, but I was wondering if anyone has one and what they think about them.  Thanks!

Bolt bounce is only an isuue on full-autos. If your SBR is cycling fine I wouldn't bother. YMMV

What length barrel, what caliber, what ammo, what buffer do you have now?

I think the ST-T2 is a great buffer, but it isn't a universal buffer (pretty close, though...)

It is a 10.5 5.56.  I'm just running a vltor carbine buffer in it.  I don't know if it is heavier than a carbine buffer, but Spikes says that their's will help to decrease recoil and allow for smoother shooting.  I just think for the price, if it does that it will be a good investment.  My gun does run 100% right now,but less recoil and smoother shooting is always good too.

In a 10.5 I would use at the very least an H buffer, probably an H2, but the ST-T2 would work well for that application. I need to just buy a shot timer instead of messing with my Ipod Touch shot timer app, but "I feel that" the ST-T2 gives me a slight edge when it comes to followup shots.

OTOH, if it ain't broke, don't fix it...but at the worst you could just resell the buffer for a slight loss, this is not a permanent modification.

You can't beat an offer like that.

I'll do it.  I'm going to buy one and see how it works.  Thanks!

Hello no cant beat that!

I have one for a pistol build not finished yet though so I havent been able to try it.

I do run a Colt 9mm buffer in my 16" carbine and can tell the difference.

Should work just fine.  The HK MP5 has had a tungsten powder filled bolt to eliminate bolt bounce since at least 1966 which was when they patented the invention.

And HK416 buffer is filled with tungsten powder as well, as part of "reliability upgrades" in HK416 program (contarty to some popular believes HK416 is not all about piston; piston is just part of package). Have this buffer in HK MR223, it's slightly heavier than ST-T2.
