I want to put a Burris Fullfield II Rifle Scope 3-9x 40mm Plex  on a flat top A2 configuration 6.8 SPC rifle and what some recommendations for mounting it.  Was thinking at top end a LaRue SP?? or at lower end Burris Signature ZEE Weaver style rings medium (equiv. to Industry Standard High) http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=416175
Please let me know what works best for hunting and range work.   Thanks!!

I have a Burris Fullfield II 3x9x40 Ballistiplex LRS in a Larue SPR 1.5 mount on my SDM-R build. Works great for me

LaRue

if not, then at least a Armalite 1 piece mount...and if you are really on a budget, a comparable one from RRA or Model 1 Sales

+1 on the La Rue Tactical mounts. I was VERY impressed by both the design as well as the quality.

LaRue is the best and very versitile.

But here is a quick and inexpensive way just to get started.

Leupold See-through rings for $18.00 at Wally World.
Quick and simple till you figure out what you want.

LaRue cannot be beat. But, a lower budget but still high quality option is a set of Burris Assault Rings. They are very robust.

For a top end choice...

Bobro, damn thing is a work of mechanical and machining art.

Low end choice...

Burris PEPR mount, it should set the scope forward enough to give you good eye relief.

Great suggestions!  Are the LaRue and Burris mounts aluminum or steel?

Here's the Armalite mount. Good mount for the money.

Amazingly it's
repeatable if it's put back in the same place and tightened the same way

Here's a link to a site that compares several one piece mounts for AR-15's
