| I was changing the grip on my sw m&p and the safety spring came out. I put it in and started to tighten the new grip and i crushed the spring. Is there a place where i can get a new spring on the internet? I checked all the local places. Also what is the proper way of installing so I dont crush it again? Thanks |

After a similar problem the first time I tried working on my rifle, I picked up a bunch of the small spare parts to keep on hand. Even the most careful person is going to have a spring and detent shoot out at some point, never to be found again. If you're ordering one spring online, you might as well go ahead and get a couple of each now so that when this problem happens again (and it will), you don't have to wait for the big brown truck to deliver a tiny silver spring.
