This is the buffer on my Colt 6920. For various reasons, I haven't put but about 75 rounds through the gun. But I looked at the buffer face today and I'm puzzled ... there are little "chatter" marks in a circle (apparently where the end of the BCG strikes it), and three scratch marks radiating out from the center.
Now, this stuff could have been there when I got the rifle, but it just looks odd to me. Anyone ever see anything like this before? . . |
