Ok. I've looked through every page of the FDE thread and out of the tons of photos I only see 4 or 5 rifles that are full FDE, not just the furniture. So, I would reeaaaly appreciate some pics of FULL FDE rifles. I am getting in some Aluma-hyde this weekend and I need some inspiration. I cant figuer out if I want to strip it down or just paint it all together. Thanks for your pics.

I didn't paint the barrel, probably won't, and still need to do the H1.

Awesome, thanks for the pics. Is there any reason none of you painted the barrel, heat maybe?

Mine was painted with cera-kote so in reality it could absolutely withstand the heat.  I wanted the FSB to remain unpainted and it was much easier to simply leave the entire barrel unpainted rather than tape it off or remove it.

These are the best pics I have at the moment. It never hurts to throw some light brown and green in to help break up the outline, just something to think about.

these show how they blend in a little better.

I honestly think I just fell in love!!! Super nice build. I see the CMMG lower what else is on the build? I wish I would have started my LMT build in FDE but oh well. I do work in a paint store so I could hook it up if i really wanted to.

Thanks for the compliment; below is an older pic that illustrates the chopped Daniel Defense rail a little better.  Build includes CMMG lower (Form 1) with 7.3" CMMG upper and BCG.  7" DD M4 rail was chopped to fit and then cera-koted in FDE.  The build is currently configured with Moe pitol grip and rear site.  The nice part about this build was that the gas system ran fine with both the A2 FH and KX-3; I use the KX-3 to project the concusion down range rather as it is pretty potent otherwise.

Cheers
