Been researching 14.5" m4 uppers daily for a while now. It seems these are both highly thought after uppers on this board, and others, independent of the bcg, because I know I am going with the bcm there. Any other real differences, or things I should be aware of?

Whichever one I decide, I will have G&R pin a comp on it for me, but what kind of accuracy do you guys get with these two choices (14.5" m4 chrome lined)?

BCM is parked under the front sight base. I got mine last week, and the finish and workmanship are superb

Based on my experience with multiple LMT products (all defective from the factory) and their shitty customer service,
I'd have to say go with BCM.

Since you're going with a BCM BCG there's not a whole lot of difference between the two other than the LMT is not parked under the FSB like jcrowl said. However, I trust Paul and BCM more than

almost anyone in the business so I would go with BCM.

I have an LMT upper (non LMT BCG) thats given me no trouble, but my next build will be a BCM middy.

A BCM upper will have the correct taper pins, be parked under the FSB and will have no chance of coming with a canted FSB.  At the same or similar price point, the choice is obvious.

I am going to do a BCM Middy also for my next build. Been hearing lots of good about BCM uppers.

I have on of each, both are 14.5"  M4's, if I had to keep one it would be the BCM.

Between that and the fact that I want a slightly longer hand guard and mid length gas system without taking anything apart too...

I don't have an LMT but the BCM carbines and mid lengths I have are absolutely flawless.  Service was excellent too.
