[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint comp2 2x

I'm looking at getting a used aimpoint to put on my LMT. The one I'm looking at is an aimpoint comp2 2x 2moa. Have any of you guys used one of these on your battle rifle. I usually don't shoot that far with my ar usually 25 to 75 yrds. Will this work or do I need to find a 1x?

I'd go with 1x then maybe a magnifier later. 2x will be slower aquiring close up targets, if only slightly.

For that short of a range stick with the 1x.
