After a few months of slowly acquiring parts both new and used, my Recce build is finished. The specs are:
Essential Arms OD green lower w/ SOPMOD stock and MIAD grip
Upper: Essential Arms OD green upper w/ M4 ramps, BCM bcg, Armalite 16" midlength barrel, Larue low-pro gas block, Larue 12" rail, Tangodown shorty VFG, Tangodown SCAR panels(Love em), Larue bipod mount, forged charging handle w/ Badger Ord. gen 1 tac latch, YHM QD phantom flash hider
The glass is a Millet DMS-1 in a Larue SPR-E, BUIS are Magpul MBUS. The can is a stainless Phantom from Yankee Hill Machine

It's definitely not something that you want to lug around all day, at 11lbs it's a bit hefty but still managable. I believe that I am going to send the barrel to ADCO to have it contoured under the rail to maybe drop a few ounces. Otherwise, I love the way that it turned out.

Nice.

The pics don't show the OD too well. Looks dull black/grey.

This is probably the best picture I have to show off the OD. Tomorrow I'll get it outside to get a pic in the sun light. It really brightens up and looks very green in bright light.

Thanks. I was disappointed when I picked them up because I thought they would be greener than they are. Although now, I'm glad that they are more subtle.

Good lookin Reece you got...    I would not worry about spending money on the barrel though, you might not ever feel a couple ounces for the cost of the work..  I say shoot and enjoy and keep 50 bucks.
