| Classic Arms is selling them for $559...good deal ? |
|
No. You can find them pretty easy of under $500. Even at that, it's debatable if they are worth the money. Just make sure to do your research before buying and compare it
to the new S&W and a dedicated upper before making your final decision. After that, load up on ammo and enjoy whatever you end up choosing |

I was just wondering if the rifle has a COLT following. |

Scroll down a bit to see some nice cracked/broken receivers. |

Looks like Vulcan made it I just hope people realize that Colt doesn't even make these things and it's definitaly not Colt quality. I was unimpressed with the few I've seen so
far and all these new .22s seem very "airsoft" to me (GSG, S&W 22, "Colt" .22). I would much rather spend the extra for a quality dedicated .22 upper but that's just me and some people can't bring themselves to spend that much for half of a rimfire rifle which I can understand too. |

Agreed, but you get what you pay for. |

Walther did actually. I handled it and wasn't impressed at all. It just felt poorly made. The selector switches "Fire" position is actually in the "Auto" position, and the switch itself is very loose and wobbly. It was occasionally finicky to get to the fire position as well. |

I didn't get to shoot one, but the Walther name is on it. I like it, especially the way they do a 14" barrel.
And for the price, I like it more than the GSG. If you want a .22 rifle, get the 10-22, but if you have the money to play with, I like the Colt/Walther. |

I know Walther makes it, I was just referring to the famous pic of the broken Vulcan lower |
| I played with one at the shop last week and was very unimpressed. The damn bolt release is just there for decoration. honestly Colt lost alot of respect just putting there name on this rifle. I had a Walter p22 that the slide cracked into on so these receivers breaking dont suprize me in the least. i am intrested to see how the SIG 522 is built hopefully SIG is not in the same boat as the Colt and letting there name be stamped on what should be toys that shoot plastic BBs. |
