Well I finally fired my new rifle.  This is my first AR style gun.  I shot at 25 yards just to get a feel for the rifle and to sight it in.  I fired 38 rounds with no issues.  My last 10 shots can fit inside my wedding ring.  I am amazed by how accurate it is.  These were with reloads that I made up before the kit came in.  To say I am happy is an understatement.  The only issues I have are the DPMS trigger kit I put in it sucks and after the last shot using Pmags the bolt did not stay open.  This happened twice.  By the way, I have not shot open sights on a rifle in over ten years, so the gun shoots better than the shooter.  It is an M4 kit, chrome moly, YHM Phantom, on a DPMS lower.  The rest is standard.  I love my new rifle.

cool, and welcome to the sickness. if the trigger really bothers you, look for the rock river tactical 2 stage trigger kit. it will not break the bank and is very smooth, then crisp. thanks for posting

Very cool.  I haven't owned one, but I've helped a few buddies assemble their kits and shot the rifles with them, and they make a good rifle.
For the price, you can't go wrong.

I was thinking of having Bill Springfield work the trigger over?  Sorry no pictures, but my work is good on this one.
