I was shooting my rifle today and had a couple failure to feeds. First round of the mag would fire and extract as normal, bolt would close fully with no live round in the chamber. I'm thinking it's a mag related issue. Ammo was MilSpec M855. Carbine gas system Any thoughts?

Either mag or short stroking. Check your gas key. I'm assuming the mag was seated properly.

Gas key is fine. USGI mags worked fine. Was having problems with some used PMAGS I picked up.

sounds like you found the problem, contact magpul and i bet they hook you up with ones that work.
