is there any benefit for having a Auto BCG vs a Semi BCG in a semi-auto rifle?

I want to pick up a spare BCG for my rifle and am undecided which kind I want.

It's a little sturdier (not that the SA BCG's aren't) and overall a little more desirable. It's "mil-spec" so people tend to want it more.

There's no harm whatsoever to having it and probably a few benefits (slightly delayed blowback). If they're the same price I'd get the FA. There's nothing wrong with the SA though.
