Hi all.

So I have a Colt MT6400c...excellent rifle, but EXTREMELY loud...and I think it's due mostly to the huge compensator / muzzle brake. It deflects a lot of muzzle blast to the left and right, as well as back to the shooter...people at my range hear (and feel) the blast, and think it's a .308 AR.

Anyway, what different muzzle device can I buy to make it quieter? (No ,not a suppressor).

Keep in mind I live in NY and can't have a flash hider...and the MT6400c series have pinned muzzle brakes also.

Thanks for any help...I am new to muzzle devices.

The Cav Arms comp isn't very loud & looks much better, you would have to send the upper to Adco for a thread & pin job. He does great work & the turn around time is incredible.
