Is there anywhere that sells, individually, all the parts that come in a standard LPK (don't really need the grips though)?

I've heard LMT sells parts, but at a 200 or so count minimum.  I'm not looking for that many of each part.  I see Bravo has LPK parts listed, but they're all out of stock, and they're all DPMS.  Not knocking DPMS, but I'd like to see what else is out there.

QUIB's picture he recently posted somewhere, showing a spare parts box, has encouraged me to do something similar.

you can buy all of the parts one at a time but it'll end up costing you more in the long run.

LMT is not going to sell any of the "bulk" parts any time soon. (ask me how i know )

if you just want some spare parts there are lots of places to get pin and spring kits. most of the big name manufacturers sell *repair* kits on the web. Brownells may even have some in stock.

i have a tool box full of parts but it's mostly from building AR's and holding on to the *extras*

for me, i try to keep one complete LPK on hand at all times. that way i know for sure that i have ALL of the parts that i would ever need for a lower. my tool box has everything for a build less the receivers, barrel and stock.

I should have made myself more clear.  I'm looking for a place that carries all of the parts on their site, but you can buy them individually......like Bravo sells them: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/AR15-Lower-Parts-s/5.htm.  I'm not looking to buy 1 part from one vendor, another part from another vendor, and so on.

Ideally, I'd like to buy probably 2 or 3 of each part that makes up a complete, standard LPK.

Brownells.  They generally have most of what you need in stock.

Thanks.

OK, so we've got Brownells and M&A.............anywhere else.  I'd like to get as many leads as possible to get around stuff being out of stock.

Link?

I figured you  meant that your place carried them.  Hinting in a subtle way.  But I checked your site and didn't see any lower parts.

If you want a lower parts kit minus the grip then you might check essentialarms.com  Their customer service is top notch and they ship quick.  also you might try (if you don't mind not having brand name LPKs )  looking at the LPK list of parts at del-ton.com.  But that is my 2 cents worth.

When I have single digit number of items I tend not to turn the item on on the website. People get evil when you call them and tell them they were not fast enough getting their orders in, but they were too fast for the auto-stock update to stop their order appearing to go through.

I have the trigger/hammer group seperate, the springs, and kit minus trigger/hammer. What are you looking for exactly?

+1, I've bought several individual parts, including lower parts from RRA, and they ship fairly quickly.

I've bought single parts from Brownells - the trick is navigating their abomination of a website. Having a catalog makes it much simpler.

Thanks mucho for all the links.  I think I've got enough places to look to be covered.

I'm looking for 2-3 of everything that comes in a standard LPK (minus the grips).  Hopefully, with all the links provided above, I'll be covered.

Thanks.

In my experience the grip only adds about $5 per LPK.  The individual parts from a LPK will be way more then the $5 saved.

I got a WOA from Adco, they sell a LPK minus the grip and FCG for 41.00...decent price, you should grab a couple of them and a FCG and call it good...

If i needed something you'd get my business just because.  Thanks

NY_Shooter,

I recently put together a spread sheet for each individual part, part number, price and broken down into groups.  I have RRA from RRA vs. DPMS from Midway.  I was comparing the individual price to complete LPKS for each place.  If you want a copy, IM me your e-mail address and I will send it.

A quick summary:

RRA:  Individual = $84.25 vs. $70 for the complete LPK
DPMS @ Midway: Individual = $94.90 vs. $56.99 for the complete LPK

I did not consider availability, just used the listed prices for comparison.

Well shit, I may have to rethink my "plan".  I was going with the thought that it would come out cheaper.

I guess I'll just pick up 2 complete LPK's and call it good.  So much for a good idea.

Thanks to everyone who replied and provided info.  Much appreciated.
