| How can you tell who made the FCG in an AR. do the different mfgr.'s have different markings?(dpms,stag/cmt, colt, etc.) or is there no way of telling who made the guts of your weapon. |

The hammers in my CMT LPK and my Colt 6920 are exactly the same, two little S's on one side and the #4 on the other side.
You think Colt might have got that hammer from CMT? Surely not, colt does everything in house right? I bet since they went back to .154 pins they started outsourcing some of the small parts again, that or they both use the same markings and have the same tooling marks |

Just wondering what E4 is. |
