They both have their pluses and their minuses. I think if I had the two sitting in front of me for the same price I'd get the Bushmaster but that's only because I have owned three and found them to be well made.
The Bushmaster lacks M4 handguards, F-marked front sight. I think Bushmaster makes great barrels. The Stag Arms has M4 handguards and an F-marked front sight but no M4 feed ramps. Neither is parkerized under the FSB. Either will serve you well. |

Some have complained about sights being canted, I've had a dozen of these over the past 20 years and have yet to see this problem on a Bushy, I did have an Armalite that was off. |
