In ARFCOM's opinion what is a fair price for a 6940?
I paid less than $1100 for my 6920's and just wonder how much more you all would spend for a 6940? Thanks in advance |

I paid $1999 for mine when they were VERY RARE.
Most shop, even those that carry Colts, had never heard of them, and there was a "wind blowing in the wrong direction" in Washington. I have never regretted my purchase or the price. I found ONE, in stock, in my hands and took it home. Since then I have put more than $1999 in ammo through it at the range. 
With the price of ammo these days, the ammo manufacturers should give the guns away for free
