| I went to bass pro shop to look for reloading supplies, i know they arnt the best as far as quality parts but they would be good enough for what i needed. i was shocked at the prices, they were asking on the unprimed shells twice the $$ of loaded remington ammo. so i bought some 55 grain vmax bullets and plan on burning the remington bullets quick so i can reload the vmax. the prices are ridiculous, hopefully inventory will go up and prices down soon. |

Gander Mountain in Lake Mary, FL (north of Orlando) has lots of .223 available - at $15/box. It'll be a lot cooler in hell before that happens. |
| What is considered a high price? The Bass Pro Shop a bit north of me had a ton (both cases of 200 rounds and individual boxes of 20) of 55 grain Remmington .223 for $9.99 per box of 20. They had cases of the stuff, and I was there later in the day. I am only just getting into the world of AR's, so I don't know if $0.50 per round is normal or just normal in the current climate. |

| The 200 round AE black packs are going for $140 here in north LA, I paid $99.00 for a box a couple months ago but I refuse to buy anymore ammo. I have a K Nosler 60gr Bt, 500 Hornaby 60gr & 200 55gr V max, and about 1200 55gr FMJBT that need loadesd in the 1K new LC08 brass I got, so Fu*k the stores and there ammo prices untill it comes back down. |

I'm been stocking up on remmington and XM193 and avoiding the walmart federal stuff for this reason. YMMV |

Primer pockets might be better on that brass. |
